PhD students and young scholars in economics and finance!
We are pleased to invite you to the VI PhD Research Horizons Seminar at Kozminski University, taking place on-line on May 19, 2026.
Agnieszka Bezat-Jarzebowska, Ph.D., Prof. KU will join us as a guest speaker during the seminar, sharing her expertise on research design, empirical approaches, and how to communicate findings effectively in economics and finance. The presenters will be provided with individualised feedback on their work. This edition will focus on: Empirical Approaches in Economics and Finance
For young researchers, the seminar provides an opportunity to:
- Pitch and refine research ideas in English with an emphasis on analytical precision,
- Obtain constructive input to improve empirical and methodological soundness,
- Build confidence ahead of conferences, seminars, and academic discussions in economics and finance.
Those attending as listeners will have the chance to:
