General information
This Summer School, organised by the Warsaw School of Economics, will give the participants an opportunity to investigate and discuss the application of quantitative methods in analyses of access to social rights from the life course perspective. We have invited top-notch experts from the most prestigious European universities and institutes to share their knowledge. Invited Ph.D. students will have a unique opportunity to get insights on latest developments in this area.
Apart from participating in discussions and workshops, the Summer school students will be able to discuss their own research ideas and get feedback. We have allocated a slot for their presentations of research plans and initial results. The submissions should fall within the main theme of the summer school, i.e., EU social rights, and relate to national developments.
This summer school is organized under the Horizon 2020 project EUSOCIALCIT which studies the state of social rights in the EU and the role of the EU in the future development of social rights. EUSOCIALCIT is an ambitious interdisciplinary research project conducted by a consortium of eight academic institutions and an international think tank on EU affairs. The summer school targets highly-motivated PhD students. Selected participants are expected to share knowledge and participate actively in the discussions.
